Maureen salvaged some books from a farmhouse in Cork. Two had belonged to the Gumbletons:
Koch's History of Europe (undated) has a handwritten inscription on 1st page:
Frances A Gumbleton, Belgrove, July 18th 1841
On another page she wrote her initials F.A.G.
The books were originally owned by Ellen Terry in Shanagarry in Cork.
